The entrepreneurial journey of Mr. Sytengco began at the young age of 16 after his Father’s passing. With his strong will to provide for his family and his determination to succeed and provide exceptional service and products a priority, Mr. Sytengco earned the trust and confidence of his colleagues and clients.

Through the support of his customers and business partners, he was able to grow his business exponentially. His vision and dedication led to the establishment of the Sytengco Group of Companies, which consists of companies with interests in chemical distribution, land holdings and development, leasing, warehousing, and financial investments. He also established the Sytengco Foundation to address various needs in the group’s communities. The foundation values on managing Health, Education, and Environment awareness.

Mr. Necisto U. Sytengco founded SBS Philippines Corporation, one of the leading chemical distributors in the Philippines, with more than 3,000 chemical products sourced from quality suppliers worldwide to serve its growing customers. In 2015, SBS Philippines Corporation was listed on the Philippines Stock Exchange.

Living by the core beliefs that have guided Mr. Necisto U. Sytengco in business and humanitarian work, the Sytengco Group of Companies maintains a standard of excellence and innovation as it prepares to seize emerging opportunities across various sectors.

Various recognitions and awards have been conferred to Mr. Necisto U. Sytengco because of his skill in the field of business. In 2018, he was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards of Enterprise Asia. He was also recognized as one of Ernst and Young’s “2019 Entrepreneur of the Year” finalist awardees.

Continuing the legacy of Mr. Sytengco are the next generation of leaders in Aylene, Necisto II and Ned Bryan Sytengco – guided by the family matriarch, Mrs. Lali Y. Sytengco.
